Well here are some pictures that I have been promising to post for awhile. I found out this afternoon that we will be taking a road trip to California this Wednesday, so I'm running around trying to get everything done that needs to get done before we leave my mental list is long and getting longer as I walk through my house so this post is going to be a short one!

Here's Izzie sitting at the awesome desk we found at a yard sale
My vegetable garden, something is eating them and I don't know what to do about it. Any ideas?
And here we are at the Pony Express Days parade here in Eagle Mountain
Izzie had so much fun it was her first parade, I thought she would get bored after awhile but she stayed interested in it all till the very end, so I'm thinking we'll make the trip down to Provo to see the 4th of July one, it supposed to be great. Hope to see you all soon!

Boo Boos and M&M's

Well it happened, Izzie has her first "real" injury today. I knew it was going to happen one day. Today she fell face first into the bench in our living-room. She hit right in the area between her nose and her upper lip. It bled and is a little swollen and bruised on the right hand side of her nose. She did one of those silent cries for the first few seconds and then let out a nice long scream followed by a few seconds short breaths, I'm sure all you moms know what I'm talking about :) We have found that a real test of how bad the boo boo is and how worried we should be, is best measured by weather or not she will take an M&M while crying, if she stops crying when she sees it, we know we're okay, but if she keeps on crying we know it's bad. Today she stopped crying when presented with an M&M, but it's me that is going in a checking on her a lot more that usual tonight and making sure that the swelling is not getting any worse. I know I'm overreacting, but give me a break there was blood!! This is a before picture by the way, it was just a cute one from this week, before her spill today. Hopefully it will be all better in the morning :).
